About Us

Rosa Dolce Designs is a home based business created by a mom of 4 girls. Priscilla Resendez, the owner and designer of RDD, has always had
a love of art. She attributed this to her father who used to paint paintings for people to make extra money. When she was 12 her mom got her a
kids sewing machine and she started to make little purses out of anything she could find. She gave them away to her friends. In High School
she excelled in art class and even had one of her drawings in a school show to showcase young talent. When she graduated she attended college for 2 years
studying Early Childhood Development. In 1997 she married her college sweetheart and he enlisted in the Army. From 1997 to 2005 took them all over the
U.S. and abroad.
During the time living in Germany, Priscilla started again in doodling with crafts. She had such a hard time finding hair bows for her daughters
that she started looking online. The P.X. only offered a slim variety of Patriotic bows. Soon she found a how to DVD online that showed her to create many
styles of bows. Since then she has taken off making them for everyone else too! FINALLY her husband, after nearly 10 years of asking, bought her the
sewing machine she always wanted. With that she started to add clothing and bags to her job lists. Now you can find just about anything on her site and she
makes everything as if she was making it for her own daughters, with love and care!
The Resendez Family are no longer a military family. Martin, is now co-owner of a company in Texas. Priscilla helps in customer service and accounts payable.
They miss military life, but they are happy where they are at in life. They have not forgotten their brother and sisters in arms and Priscilla takes 10% of what she makes
and uses it to send care packages to military service people in Iraq and Afghanistan!
